Your life without a computer: what does it look like?
I grew up in a household were computer was not a prominent part until much later in 2008 when we had our one at home. Before that, morning was spent with breakfast on table with newspaper being passed around to each member. Our day would move in orderly manner. Me and my siblings would play in park with our friends and parents would be sitting around on benches, talking with each other and watching us. It was a wholesome experience. At night on dinner table, we all would exchange new things we learnt in the evening. There was feeling of togetherness and harmony within our household and in the community.
Later, with advent of computers and internets, things changed drastically. news on web reached to us earlier than the printed ones, kids playtime started revolving around computer games and chase to beat the highest score. Leisure time was consumed by using shady websites on internet and the effort to hide it created invisible barriers among siblings. Everyone started having private lives and smaller social circles. Technological changes indeed made our lives easier and contributed alot in advancement of human race and all of that is good. But, sometimes i do miss the ease and peace of the life i had while growing up. Now, it will be conveyed in the stories that i would probably tell my future childrens and grand-childrens hopefully.
