Sky is bright,
Sun is smiling widely,
Can you see it,?
but surely you can feel it.
In the leaves of that tree you see everyday
Just outside your house ,
It is blooming
Trying it’s best to reach that amber glow
And those flowers in your courtyard
Sucking all the goodness
In the quest to spread it’s vibrancy
Isn’t this inspiring?
Moisture in the air will bring rain
Everything around you will jump on the wagon
To complete the cycle
To reach the next stage of life
Meanwhile you can’t let go of the door.
Staying inside
Holding back
There but not all there.
Wanting but not attempting
Scared of the brightness
Highlighting all your imperfections
But will you choose to loose
All the warmth
Staying in the darkness
Like a wilting flower.
